Well, this is just something strange... I wanted to try something new... I know this is not the best shot and there are many things I don't like in this one... but... I still like the whole outcome...
This is my first pic with an English title... because I wanted to write a poem for it... I cannot write poems in English but I can write poems in German even worse... so.. here it is.. nothing more to say....

the way

first step
nothing more
to say
I see
that they
don't want me
I feel
that I have
to go
now

second step
I know that
I cannot
return
I will not return
I don't want to
I hear the words
behind me
And I think:
Keep them

third step
I am making my way
maybe
it's not the right way
it's not the way
you will call "right"
but it is
my way

last step
the end is near
and maybe
you were right
maybe this was
wrong
but you made me
do it

---
sorry... for my primitive english... there must be maaany misakes.. I am sure... and I really cannot write poems... maybe I should stop trying it... sorry... blah....

I love the photo and the poem!! :D (Big Grin)
really luv the pic... its atmospheric...
I love this shot for a multitude of reasons. Namely the amazing contrast and shadowplay. It has a gentle, forlorn, almost empty feeling to it. The light refraction on the path (almost looks like water is cascading down it) adds a really nice touch in my opinion. Great photo.

Your poem adds another layer to the photograph, and I especially enjoyed your unique style. I'm not a particular fan of excessively rhyming poetry, because I have attempted it, and I end up spending more time thinking of a word that would fit in than just letting my thoughts and emotions flow...

I'm going to have to check out your gallery :) (Smile)

A nice picture, and even though the sun made the figure less visible, I love the atmosphere you have there. The contrast of the cold weather captured with the bright light makes this very impressive.... Good work. I think this is your best still life picture you had so far. Hope more keeps coming.

Very very awesome shot ... the darkpurple/gray tones amplify the picture ...

This picture is wonderful, really. Love the atmosphere someone can embrace. The purple colors (meaning desolation) and the beams ov light..the lone figure wandering alove, roving betwixt the fields ov isolation.
Love how the figure is dark, contrasting with the background.

Your english is not so primitive as you state. You've successfully attained your aim.

Well done.
